Your first and last impressions are key to long term success with any prospect. Being professional, organized, and purposeful empower you to leave incredible first and last impressions. In this workshop we will uncover the nature of the first contact with each target at your prospect. From having a good understanding of the prospects business and responsibilities to being mindful of what is important to the target, allows you to build credibility and rapport with each and every contact at the prospect. This brings a strong foundation for you and your prospect to build upon.
Learning Outcomes
  • Identify and clarify the objective of your first contact with the prospect, from his/her perspective.
  • Establish the basis of your relationship with the prospect from the start.
  • Develop your template of the structure of your first contact (whether the contact is via phone, email, snail mail, or face-to-face) with any prospect.
  • Determine your plan for before, during, and after the first contact.
  • Design your first contact evaluation criteria (lessons learned).
  • Set guidelines for others within your company, if they take part in your first contact process.
